Behavioral Healthcare for Children, Adults, and seniors

My name is Jacob Scott and I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I completed my master’s degree at the University of Colorado in Pueblo. I specialize in medication management for children and adults, ages 6 and older.

If you are ready to speak to someone but don’t want to feel pressured or judged, I would like to meet you. It’s important to me and to the success of our collaborative relationship that you feel seen and heard. I want to help you achieve your goals. Our collaboration will be built on honest communication about what concerns you, and if medications might be helpful. I don’t believe medications are the answer for every emotional or behavioral issue that we are dealing with, and I also truly believe therapy is often a critical component of long-term well-being. Together, we will develop a plan that works best for you.

I am originally from North AL but recently spent several years in Colorado. It was great, but I am happy to be back in the south, closer to family.

I am Dr. Stacy Stuart, a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I obtained my Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Auburn University and my master’s degree from The University of Alabama Birmingham. I have years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings. I am passionate about all mental health conditions but I have specialized training in perinatal psychiatry. I am a wife and mother to two wonderful children. I utilize the telehealth platform to accommodate the busy lives of my patients and provide mental health treatment all across the state of Alabama. I am experienced in treating individuals 17 years and older with depression, anxiety, ADHD, panic disorder, antenatal and postpartum depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, eating disorders, personality disorders, and adjustment disorders. I look forward to working together as a team to create and implement an individualized treatment plan to improve your mental, and therefore, overall health. My motto is, “mental health is not a sprint, it is a lifelong journey.”

Hello! My name is April Seay. I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitoner and I

am excited to join Revival Psychiatry! I am also a certified Family Nurse Practitioner and have practiced

in the primary care setting for 20 years. I have a Masters degree in Nursing with a Family Nurse

Practitioner focus from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and a Post Master's Certificate as a

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitoner from the University of North Alabama. I have 30 years

experience in healthcare as an RN and NP.

During my time as an FNP, I realized the lack of mental health care options for my patients and knew this

was an area I wanted to specialize in. I believe in treating you as a person, not as a patient, and utilize a

holistic approach to provide you with the best care possible. I will work to establish a relationship with

you and identify your strengths and weaknesses. If medication is an appropriate treatment option, we

will work together to find the best option for you. If not, we will work together to determine other options

for you. I specialize in medication management for ages 5 years old and older and have a special place

in my heart for elderly patients.

I have been married to my husband for 31 years. We enjoy traveling, camping, and serving with a

ministry in Guatemala.

I look forward to helping you on your mental health journey!

"You treat a disease, you win, you lose. You treat a person, I guarantee you win - no matter the

outcome." Robin Williams in "Patch Adams"
